I have not been blogging for some time now and the simple reason has been that there has been too much other writing going on and also other also things happening in life.
One has to take stock sometimes and decide which way to move with things. I have had to figure out what purpose writing should have. What drives me on, what gets me out of bed, and decide to write.
To keep it simple it is just for the love of life that I write. With this comes however that the writer has serious concern about the state this world is on. Concerns about the more vulnerable, children and also social injustice.
I am not really interested in politics at all, but am in the consequences. Whilst being positive provocative am not interested in trying to upset or divide people. The contrary is true and much rather find ways to make people connect and communicate.
Anyway, for the forseeable future the writings will about that and can either be fictional or non-fictional.
I do hope to connect and communicate with fellow writers for the love of life!
There is so much to be critical about right now that one wonders how to start ventilating frustration.
Clearly things in this beautiful world are not quite as they should be, whatever side of the fence you are. We should not have a side of the fence perhaps.
One can rant and rave about what is wrong and be pessimistic about the future, and to be fair this is not unreasonable. But, does it help?
Every human is essentially the same. Whether you like it or not.
This human is frustrated with the mess created by us. Strange species, us humans.
Come on, let’s stop the madness and embrace life and humanity.
With the state of humankind as it is we can do a number of things.
We can make more war, despair, be divisive for what ever reason we care for, or perhaps do something totally different.
No, the writer is not a guru, do not worry about all that. Gurus are not for me, well not as in more interesting, or clever than any other human being.
The spiritual revolution has more to do with accepting that we do not know anything anymore about what to do next.
I do not know about you, but I do not know what to do next with this world. What I do know is, that what we have done to it, and to each other, is not very pretty.
So, the conclusion is that, perhaps, since we do not know, even if we think we do, we need a spiritual revolution. Well, the writer needs one, because does not know what else can be done.
We cannot go on creating conflict. We cannot go on allowing poverty. We cannot go on destroying our planet. This is perhaps all I do know. Perhaps you know more and can help me.
Or, we can help one and another.
We need to be more intelligent.
